crossfit kids, tweens, and teens

  • Kids (Ages 4-8)

    Our kids program is taught by a CrossFit Kids-certified coach, and focuses on fun! We learn movements such as the squat, box jumps, and others through games, obstacle courses and other and age-appropriate activities. No weights are used. During the summer, our kids program is held in PCF’s backyard, and is the same time as an adult all-level CrossFit class (which is inside the gym), so children and their parents can workout simultaneously.

  • Tweens & Teens (Ages 9-15)

    Tweens and teens continue to learn the basis of good movement mechanics for squats, deadlifts, jumprope, box jumps, etc. Lifts will be taught without weights, and then light weights may be used only if the child consistently shows safe movement patterns. This class uses games and short workouts to promote physical activity in a fun environment. In each class, we also discuss healthy habits, setting young athletes up for lifelong health and fitness!

PCF’s weeklong summer camp is structured similar to our Kids Club, but the fun lasts all week long! Each day will have a theme, and a skill focus (example: squats, hanging/swinging, jumping, etc). Campers can expect to learn crucial exercise skills in an age-appropriate way, and reinforce those skills with games and obstacle courses. It is perfect for all skill levels, and no experience is required. Additionally, we will complete crafts each day that relate to our theme.

The camp will be a mixture of inside work in our air-conditioned gym, as well as outdoor play, so children should dress appropriately and wearing sunscreen.

kids clubs

PCF’s Kids Club provides a safe, fun activity for children on certain days when school is out. Each 3-hour long program has a theme! We will read books, play games, do a CrossFit kids-style workout or obstacle course, have a snack and finish with a craft.

  • Ages: 5-8

  • Cost: $40 per child, per day

  • Upcoming Kids Clubs: Monday, Feb. 16 from 11:00-1:00

  • Parents can drop their child off or stay and work/hangout in our upstairs lounge (free coffee and Wifi!)

    • Thursday, Feb. 5. 1:30-4:30

    • Monday Feb. 16 11:00-2:00
